The exhibition titled Variations of a Fundamental Motif, held at 12m2 space Kiralık Depo, consists of works by Deniz Kulaksızoğlu and Yunus Aras. Addressing the exhibition space as a space of creation, Deniz Kulaksızoğlu and Yunus Aras manipulate both the space and the way we respond to it, either through reduplicating and manipulating surfaces (D.K.), rearranging concrete cylinders (Y.A.), or obscuring the floor with black water. By focusing on repetition and variation, the exhibition aims to transform the space itself into something fully experiential.
